WHO WE ARE

Women Education and Afghanistan Rehabilitation Organization (WEARO) has been established on 2018 by group of youth activists who believe in to provide humanitarian supports based on the principles of human rights gender equality, cultural values and environmental and socio-economic sustain ability to focus on the vulnerable population.

WEARO registered in 2018 under Ministry of Economy, Islamic republic of Afghanistan with registration number 4420The main aim of establishing WEARO behind bringing productive and sustainable socio-economic changes in the Afghan Society at grass-root level through community participation, women empowerment and main streaming vulnerable and most of poor and marginalized segments of Afghan society.

Likewise WEARO also focusing on to working in the areas of education, agriculture, environment and sanitation WEARO believes that without women’s active participation as the main vulnerable group, development and humanitarian relief goals cannot be achieved. WEARO has different executive sections within its structure, which are integrated into the overall structure of the organization in such a manner to implement its projects with the utmost efficiency of organization.

Mandate

WEARO mandate is a gender inclusive, equitable, hunger free and healthy society through women social, economic and political empowerment, child rights protection,MHPSS counseling capacity building, WASH, Agriculture support & environmental protection, humanitarian assistance and renewable energy interventions

Objectives

Increase the mass awareness and education on basic human's rights specifivally for women and comtribution to peace building .

Improve livelihoods and small-scale income-generating activities of vulnerable communities, especially women and person with disabilities (PWDs), to ensure their participation in family and society .

orgaize community-based projects/campaign aginst discrimination and violence of right to establish human's rights perfection and dignity in the communith/society .

Engage with existing and also develop strategic networks and opportunities for collaborative working on education/awareness and peace building .

Establish a strong platform with governement, non-government and private sectors to promote right-based approach and ensure the rights, entitilements, and ensure the rights, entitilements, and sevices for betterment of communities .
